Paper Cuts
Whilst studying 3D Design at Manchester Metropolitan University, I really discovered my love for paper craft. Originally inspired by unusual sea life, I created pieces made up of several layers which play around with light and shadow. All of my paper work is hand cut, and there for no two are the same. Throughout the years my work has evolved to encapsulate other items in nature, such as birds and leaves.
My work has been displayed in galleries, such as the Sale Waterside Art Centre, and I have exhibited at the British Craft Trade Far, during which time I sold several pieces to other galleries. I have also shown work at the annual Sale Arts Trail and taken part in various craft shows and markets in the North West.
